The Gathering will return at the next in-person WisCon.

The Gathering on Friday afternoon is the official start to in-person WisCons! This is the time and place to decompress from the rigors of travel, meet friends old and new, make the transition to WisCon space-time, and get into the WisCon frame of mind. Fun activities and relaxation await you at the Gathering. We also share information about the convention.

What happens at the Gathering?  It’s held in one of the hotel ballrooms, with tables for drop-in activities, chairs to sit, and open space to chat and catch up. In the past we’ve had activities like:

• hair braiding
• a fiber arts circle
• a galley sale
• paper crafts and access crafts
• tarot readings
• make-and-take soft circuits
• lock-picking lessons
• the nail polish swap
• button making

Gathering activities are proposed and led by members. Propose an activity for the next in-person con!
